After two failed bone grafts: an implant rebuilt with iliac autogenous bone
Revision · iliac graft
Revision · iliac graft

Repeated graft failures had left the jawbone thin. A block of the patient’s own bone, harvested from the hip (ilium), was grafted under local anesthesia to rebuild a foundation for the implant — a demanding revision. Autogenous bone carries a low risk of rejection, and the block form was planned for stable integration.
